A viewer sent me photos of a "new" EPDM rear extension that is already leaking. On the surface, the rubber looks perfect—neat corners and good outlets. But when we look closer with thermal imaging and check the internal ceiling, the truth comes out.

In this video, I perform a forensic analysis of a failed "warm roof." I explain how to measure roof build-up from a photograph, why the junction between the house and extension is the most common failure point, and I show you what happens to PIR insulation when vapor barriers fail.
