Customer called about their roof leaking, and needing an estimate for a roof repair. After meeting the customer showing where the leak inside was, there was an attic access right near it.. Looking up in the attic there was a 4" cast iron pipe in the general area of the roof leak. Where the pipe goes through the roof it goes down and then horizontally over towards the leak. Originally thinking it was something coming in around the pipe where I could see light shining through and coming down the pipe. Until I got on the roof and saw other various roof problems in that general area with the flashing chimney valley siding and such.
