In this video we are fixing the part of the roof that was leaking water into the roof and the brick work during long periods of rain.
This issue now started showing up as the raining season started. We replaced the zink flashing that was installed where the two parts of the roof meet as it was damaged and, as we found out, not properly installed. We also replaced pieces of wood that got wet.
This temporary fix should keep the house dry until next summer, where it is planned to redo this part of the roof completely.
As of release of this video, which was about 3 months after this repair, there were no more problems with water leaking into the roof.
