In Episode 18 or week 17 we are wrapping up our pool build. Now you may be asking why stop the house and build the pool? Well because of rainy season rapidly approaching! We were at a good stopping point on house and above ground. whereas our pool needs framed out and poured before the rain begins. Either way, I would've had a pool whether I liked it or not. Building this and pouring during the rains would've made this alot more challenging and more costly! Imagine pumping out water and mud daily. Right! So now with the pool 50 percent complete we will resume the 2nd floor of our house.
The small swimming pool consists of a 6 inch slab with reinforced concrete. The rebar is spaced at .1 for slab extending to vertical bars. The horizontal bats for sides of pool rest on the verticals and are spaced at .2m apart and the wall thickness is .2 or 8 inches thick. The small pool will feature 8 underwater lights.
2 return jets, 1 skimmer, 1 drain and 3 waterfalls.
