My home office is a disaster. I have stuff all over and it’s interfering with my ability to edit videos. I decided to make a project that lets me easily access only the things I need and I can put the rest of the clutter away. I always wanted a project that can be customized. I may want to have trays sometimes and pencil holders another time. Who knows?!
I came up with a wood tray made from maple. I added wenge veneer in certain parts for a nice contrast. The pucks that sit inside the tray are a combination of maple and wenge. I think this project shows how versatile woodworking is. The primary thing that holds us back is our ability to be creative to solve a solution. Let’s hope that this project truly fixes my desk disaster. If not, I guess I’m making more wood trays!
