In this video we are demonstrating how to install a carpet to a bullnose stair in once piece of carpet using the cap and band style. You will see how to prep and underlay your bullnose stair ready for your carpet, the techniques to cut and fit the stair and riser and how to make the relief cuts required to tuck and staple your carpet to your stair bullnose. There are other methods on fitting a bullnose stair, however this is our preferred method. The tools required to fit underlay and carpet to a bullnose stair are a slap hammer / staple hammer, carpet adhesive, straight blade knife, hook blade knife, hammer, bolster and staple gun.
