This video shows how to replace timber rafters and polycarbonate sheeting on a conservatory roof. The work took three days over the Easter bank holiday weekend.

The first job was to remove the old roof. In some places we needed an angle grinder for this.
Then the rotten rafters needed replacing. This were cut out with a jigsaw and the new 3x3 ones were birdmouth cut and plumb cutted to length.
The Polycarbonate was cut to size with a fine toothed jigsaw blade. And fitted on rubber gaskets and fasted down with the aluminium capping. Finally white cappings where slid over for decoration.
Lead flashing was reinstalled
