Earth Works Designer and project foreman take us through improving drainage around a pool in Jacksonville, Florida. The wooded lot next door principally drains away to a nearby retention pond, but, with the growth of some trees along the property line some drainage backflow was draining into the homeowner’s pool. We modified the paver pool patio by installing a Stonegate wall along with improving the landscaping and fixed some pavers that had settled due to insufficient crushcrete support provided by another contractor during their initial pool patio construction.
