We took on DIY plumbing with ZERO experience while building our off grid home… and let’s just say—it didn’t go perfectly. 😅
In this video, we rough in a full plumbing system from scratch, drill through our brand new floor (terrifying), and run drain lines, vents, and connections—all while learning as we go. Along the way, we make some costly mistakes, forget critical steps, and even have to redo parts of the system.
At the same time, we attempt to drill a shallow well on our property—and the results were NOT what we hoped for. Muddy water, low output, and a lot of lessons learned the hard way.
But somehow… after all that… we still passed our plumbing inspection.
