We went out to fix a drainage problem. Things did not go as planned. A homeowner had water pooling against the foundation of their slab-on-grade house, slowly destroying the block in Ohio's freeze-thaw cycle. A previous contractor had already attempted a fix... and it didn't work. We came in with the right equipment to do it right. Then we hit a gas line. Skipping one step turned a straightforward 300-foot pipe run into an expensive lesson.
