These are red oak boards that are 5 inches wide by about 13 feet long. I bought these boards from Shenandoah Planing Mill in Charles Town, WV. First step is to put a Silicone Vapor Shield along with Insulayment that I got from Lumber Liquidators in Leesburg, VA. To nail the floors, I bought a Bostitch Bulldog 16-gauge pneumatic floor nailer from Lowes (which is on sale right now for $199). I hope you enjoy this video and learn a thing or two!
