Tools: - flooring nailer with compressor - nail gun or brad nailer and hammer - drill - impact screwdriver - table saw - miter saw - jig saw - rubber mallet
Materials: - 3/4" thick 4.25" wide red oak flooring (greyish brown stain) - 16 gauge 2" steel L cleats for flooring nailer - 18 gauge 2" brad nails for brad nailer nail gun - 2" all purpose nails - wax paper underlayment - 2" decking screws to reinforce subfloor - wood glue - roofing shingles and/or roofing felt to level subfloor
