After the stress of sanding our hardwood floors, all of our focus moved to the Minwax floor finish! The most important part of refinishing your floor is how it turns out right? Luckily our hardwood floor refinishing ended up going very smooth and the Minwax floor finish and Minwax stain turned out great on the floors!

We spent some time testing out stain and landed on Minwax Weathered Oak to offer a softer color and honor the age of the house! We also used Minwax Polyurethane Floors in a Satin Finish. The Minwax poly does have an amber color and we did notice that on. the floor when adding it, but it was worth using the poly vs. a water based product for longevity.

Hopefully you enjoyed the entire floor renovation project. We certainly love how it turned out!
