In this video, I show the 3 step solution to to fixing gaps in hardwood floors. As temperatures change, wood expands and contracts, so using wood filler, which hardens, doesn't work, because it will crack as the wood moves. Using a flexible, waterproof caulk, it will expand and contract with the wood, but there's still an issue, COLOR. There are many different colors of caulk, but its next to impossible to find one to perfectly match the floor. So, the final step is to take some sawdust, and push it into the gaps, while the caulk is still wet. Once dry, you can sweep away the excess sawdust, and the caulk now closely matches the floor!
