Homes which have (or have had) foundation problems are all to common here in DFW. The good news is that previous (or even current) foundation issues is not necessarily a big red flag when buying a home, it all comes down to making sure that the repairs are done correctly, and with a transferrable warranty. Of course, not everyone is comfortable purchasing a home which has had foundation problems in the past, but to find out whether or not such an endeavor is right for you, I would encourage you to educate yourself on the matter so that you have the peace of mind your are looking for when you sign on the dotted line.
