Tired of clients constantly pushing you around and messing with your head? You're not alone, my friend. In this video, Tom talks about those pain-in-the-ass clients and shares three ways to avoid the client headaches.
Let's face it, dealing with some clients can be a nightmare. They can be indecisive, demanding, and downright difficult to deal with. But, if you want to run a successful contracting business, you must learn how to handle them like a boss.
First off, communicate effectively. Be clear and concise with your clients from the get-go. Make sure they understand what you can and can't do and what their expectations should be. (And don't be afraid to ask questions if something isn't clear).
Secondly, don't avoid tough conversations. If there's a problem, address it head-on. Ignoring it will only make things worse in the long run. So, be honest and upfront with your clients, and work together to find a solution.
And finally, set expectations with your clients. Let them know what they can expect from you and what you expect from them. This will help avoid any misunderstandings down the road and make sure everyone is on the same page.
Put these into practice, and you'll be running a successful contracting business in no time.
