Welcome to another addition of RV DIY. This wee we replace our RV Carpet. Why you may ask are we replacing the Carpet on a 3 yr old RV. Well the RV industry, is not known for using high quality things and the carpet is most definitely one of the cheapest things they can use. I am sure that just using the RV a half dozen times a year, the carpet would have been fine for years, but full timing as well as two large dogs does take its toll.

We take the time and show you step by step of removal and installation of carpet and why we chose to go back to carpet as well. This will also include how to remove furniture that is secured to the RV, or at least suppose to be secured, that you will see also. NOW please note there is a 95% chance you will have to remove the inside T-molding if you are to re carpet a slide. That might seem frightening but it really is not that bad.

Below is a list of tools we used as well as links to the store, please enjoy the video and shoot us a comment if you have any Questions. As always Thank you
